An internal fixing frame ensures a firm hold of the garbage bag around its entire circumference. The touchless lid opening works on the principle of a motion sensor located at the top of the Siguro Motion Open L300SU basket, which senses movement only directly above the lid, not around it. The lid opens automatically when the sensor detects movement of a hand or object at a distance of approximately 15-25 cm above the basket. This targeted sensing is deliberately designed so that the lid does not open when simply walking past, but only when actually intending to dispose of waste. For the sensor to function properly, it is not advisable to place the basket directly under low shelves, windowsills or other obstructions above the lid.
When the sensor is activated, the lid of the Siguro Motion Open L300SU Touchless Bin opens automatically and is accompanied by a blue flashing (6×) LED. The lid remains open for 5 seconds, after which it closes automatically. The entire process is fully automatic and takes place without the need for any touch, ensuring convenient and hygienic waste disposal. If you need to keep the lid open longer, just hold your hand or an object over the sensor - after 3 seconds, the lid is activated in permanent open mode.

With a single set of batteries, the bin can handle approximately 1,200 to 1,800 lid openings, so it offers long life even with daily use and requires little maintenance.
