The default setting of the Siguro EK-S390GL Adelaide is 100 °C. If you need to select a different temperature, use the corresponding button on the handle to set the desired temperature - 50, 70, 80 or 90 °C. This allows you to heat the water to the exact temperature required for the preparation of the beverage (different types of tea or coffee). As the water in the kettle heats up, the backlight of the kettle will change (green = temperature 50 °C; blue = 70 °C; purple = 80 °C; light blue = 90 °C; red = 100 °C). Once the water in the kettle is boiled, an audible warning sounds and the kettle automatically switches off.
To activate this function, simply press and hold the off/on button for 3 seconds. Once the water is heated to the desired temperature, the Siguro EK-S390GL Adelaide automatically switches to temperature maintenance mode. The maximum duration of the temperature hold mode is 30 minutes and cannot be selected for a temperature of 100 °C. When pouring water, the double-sided water level indicator comes in handy - on one side in millilitres, on the other it shows the number of cups.
